EXAM CELL

The Examination Cell of the College has the Principal as the Superintendent of Examinations (SOE) and a senior faculty as Controller of Examinations (COE). It is the responsibility of the Exam Cell to conduct the college examinations (both internal and of the university) with zero tolerance on malpractices of any kind.

Bangalore University holds examinations at the end of each semester. For a pass in the University Semester Examinations, a student is required to score a minimum of 40%. The end Semester University examination schedule is published in the University calendar and the same is given in the college calendar.

All exams related queries will be answered by the Exam Cell and the time table for the exams will be announced one month before the commencement of the examination.

GRADUATION DAY

Schedule: The graduation day is scheduled towards the end of the academic year. Parents and guardians are invited to attend the graduation day.

Accolades were awarded during the graduation ceremony. Toppers of each course in University Examination were honoured with Proficiency Prizes. The winners were awarded with certificates and cash prizes. Special awards like Kalaprathibha, Best Outgoing student, Best Student of the year, Best Sportsman and Best Sportswoman of the outgoing batch were given away during the ceremony.

GUIDELINES INTERNAL EXAMS

CONTINUOUS INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

Academic Assessment is based on CBCS (Choice Based Credit System), 30% marks are allotted for internal assessment. In alignment with the norms of Bangalore University, the internal assessment marks shall be based on attendance, tests, seminars, assignments and presentations. 30 marks assigned for internal assessment shall be divided into the following components:

A candidate should have a minimum 75% attendance per semester, in each paper to be permitted to take the end-semester examinations.

PROVISIONAL DEGREE CERTIFICATE & TC

When can the application be made? Once the student successfully completes the course, she/he can apply for the PDC & TC. Transfer Certificate is usually issued against a requisition from the institute where the student intends to pursue further studies.

PROCEDURE

Students should pay prescribed fee and collect the TC / PDC request form and submit the same along with the College ID card and copies of all the semesters’ marks cards to the admin office. There is a provision for university attestation, if required. Candidates must submit application for the same to the university within 6 months from the date of course completion along with the prescribed fees collected by university.
